Timber Tim offers a professional, friendly and flexible service in all aspects of tree and garden care with an emphasis on personlised expert advice for your garden and value for money. We are based in Galgate, Lancaster and cover the whole of Lancashire and South Cumbria area.
Timber Tim is run by ISA certified Arborist Tim Pickard who holds a National Diploma in Horticulture / Arboriculture and completed the RHS certificate in Horticulture at Wisley Gardens in Surrey. Tim has been an arborist for 21 years working both in the UK and Europe and has taught Arboriculture and Plant Identification at the National Centre for Vocational Excellence.
Tim specialises in specialist pruning including fruit trees, topiary and pleaching and is happy to give advice and a free quote on any job however large or small.

Tim also has a passion for woodcrafts and has created hand crafted sculptures and furniture for schools, churches and individuals alike. Benches, stools and wildlife sculptures are a speciality but all bespoke requests are more than welcome!
